| Kiwanis International Hires Public Relations Manager |

INDIANAPOLIS—April 30, 2008—Kiwanis International has hired Joedy Isert as Public Relations Manager of the global not-for-profit service organization. In this position, Isert will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and coordinating Kiwanis’ public relations initiatives and supporting its global marketing, branding, and communications programs. "We are really excited to have Joedy as part of our global team," said Carolyn Mosby-Williams, chief marketing officer. "Joedy’s prior global corporate and not-for-profit public relations experience is exactly what we need to help promote and publicize the great work that Kiwanis does all around the world." Isert brings a number of years of experience, most recently as a senior communications associate for Eli Lilly and Company, where he was responsible for global public relations initiatives for Lilly’s cardiovascular and acute care therapeutic products, pipeline and programs in Indianapolis. Isert previously served as global director of public relations for Habitat for Humanity International and as a communications director with Kentucky state government. He also has held similar positions in the newspaper, homebuilding, and regulatory industries, and owned a weekly newspaper and consumer/nonprofit communications agency. Isert is a native of Lexington, Kentucky, and a graduate of the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He holds a degree in journalism. |
