Julie Fletcher of Welcome Warehouse
talked about the purpose and needs of Welcome Warehouse today.  Welcome Warehouse Inc.  is a non-profit organization that was inspired by a school nurse and a clinic aide along with a group of moms who wanted to help families temporarily in need in the Dublin community.
Welcome Warehouse provides a convenient Dublin location where community members can drive up to drop off gently used clothing and household items. Items are personally and confidentially distributed to families in need on a case-by-case basis. They are also involved with Adopt a Family.

We can drop needed items at their current location (6500 Shier-Rings Road, Unit O) on the first and third Saturdays of the month between the hours of between the hours of 9 and 11 A.M.  Receipts.  Check the Welcome Warehouse website at http://www.welcomewarehouse.org for items they will accept and for their move to new location happening in January 2009.

Julie mentioned the need for volunteers in many capacities:
-Pickup truck owners who can pickup large items like furniture and mattresses
-Drivers to pickup other items
-Assistance during the times the Warehouse is open to the public
-Volunteers and vehicles to help with their move in January

If you would like to volunteer email Volunteers@welcomewarehouse.org
