Recent extreme weather and natural disasters throughout the world have caused devastation in many areas. These events have prompted Kiwanis International and the Kiwanis International Foundation to issue a special plea for contributions to the Disaster Relief Fund.

INDIANAPOLIS—April 10, 2008—Key Club International, a Kiwanis service leadership organization for high school students, is donating $277,130 for UNICEF’s emergency relief efforts in Kenya. The donation will make a huge difference to many families in the country plagued with ethnic instability and civil unrest.

INDIANAPOLIS - April 9, 2008 - Kiwanis International has hired Jill J. Madinger as Director of Growth & Club Excellence, effective April 8, 2008. Jill will oversee education curricula programs for volunteer leader development, focusing on membership growth. She will also be responsible for directing strategies to enhance Kiwanis club operations and member experiences in new and existing clubs, divisions and districts.
