This memo is to inform you that the mailing you received soliciting funds for the Columbus Club’s Bib Project, which is promoted as an Ohio District Kiwanis project is not an authorized district project. Even though it is a worthy project for your club’s consideration, clubs are free to make their own decision whether they wish to participate.

The project is advertised as being for pediatric trauma and does meet the criteria of the First Lady’s Project for pediatric trauma, prevention and treatment.  However, it does not meet the criteria to be counted toward a club’s commitment to monetarily support the First Lady’s Project. First Lady Marge and I ask that you consider this before committing to the Bib Project.
