Thank You - 08/06/2014
Submitted by: Molly Baumann

Hello!

I want to take a moment to thank you for your support. I was able to attend both CKIx and Leadership Academy in the past month and a half due in large part to the support of Kiwanis clubs and divisions. Both were truly great experiences where I learned a lot, talked with members from across the country, and grew as an individual. I am continually amazed by the passion present in Circle K and the entire Kiwanis Family. That passion is a prominent feature at these events. I hope to rekindle this passion in Ohio Circle K this year; I know that together we can bring this passion to the front again. Thank you for all of your support!

In Service,
Molly Baumann

Kiwanis License Plate Available for Purchase - 12/04/2013
Submitted by: Dave Whiteman

Great news! We just received an email from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles telling us that the new Kiwanis License Plate is now available for purchase through your local Deputy Registrar or by going to their website at https://www.oplates.com/. I took a few minutes and exchanged my current plates through the website this morning, even though I had just renewed them in November. It is a simple process.

Remember that your purchase is helping us brand Kiwanis in the Ohio District and perhaps more importantly, it is providing our District Kiwanis Foundation additional funds that will eventually be returned to our local clubs to assist in projects throughout the Ohio District.

If you have any questions...

A Key Leader Weekend - 08/17/2012
Submitted by: Kelly Shaffer

Take the Lead: A Key Leader Weekend was published in The Stampede, student newspaper of Madeira High School, Madeira, Ohio on May 4, 2011.  It was written by Key Leader attendee Emma Sabransky.

I climbed up the four steps to the top of the platform with my legs and hands shaking almost uncontrollably.  I turned around, put my heels to the edge, and took a deep breath.  "Spotters ready?" I asked.

"Ready!" came the reply.

"Ready to fall," I said, my voice getting tight with the anticipation.

"Fall away!" my group responded.

"I swallowed hard and took a shaky breath.  "Falling," I said.  And then I fell.  Never...
