The 2018 Club Leadership Education Schedule for classroom sessions is slowly taking shape. The events that have been confirmed are open for registration and additional ones will be taking place in June and July and one final session taking place, Friday of Convention.
However, the Club Leadership Education webinars are always available at www.kiwanis.org. Simply click on “Member Resources” and then select “Training”. Classes are available for a wide range of topics including rudimentary officer education.
I do encourage all incoming (and returning) officers to attend CLE classes that will be held in the spring – these will be more in-depth and will hopefully provide some thought-provoking ideas on how to run efficient and enjoyable club meetings and activities. Additional education sessions and topics are available at Kiwanis Convention and Mid-Year Education Day.
I will be seeking upbeat and enthusiastic Kiwanians to assist with educating incoming officers in a casual classroom setting within your own division. If you are interested in empowering club leaders to create the change they seek in their communities, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
Please watch this page for additional information as it becomes available. Thank you for being leaders – in your club, community and our organization.
